Helion is a fusion energy company founded in 2013 and based in Everett, Washington. It is developing pulsed magneto-inertial fusion technology with the goal of building the world's first commercial fusion power plant, named Orion, to provide clean electricity. The company's technical work focuses on field-reversed configuration (FRC) plasma and direct electricity recovery from fusion.

The company has built and operated seven fusion prototypes. Its machine Polaris demonstrated bulk thermonuclear fusion with deuterium-tritium fuel, achieving plasma temperatures of 150 million degrees Celsius, and was the first privately funded device to reach this milestone. Helion has raised over $1 billion in total funding to advance its technology.
